Five years after a first, digital-only collection, Alp bound those stories in print alongside new work. Immoral Routine stands in the hall as a book whose very arrangement lays out the course of an artist's drawing.
Published by Bunendo, it is Alp's second book in print. The new linked series Routine and the one-shot Yoi Deai join seven stories from the digital-only Honey Trap; the digital special edition adds a sequel and more, for eleven in all. Routine is a school story about the daily habit of two classmates who meet early every morning, and the book's title fuses the words immoral and routine.
Because the stories span several years of work, readers note that the volume lets one follow the drawing as it changes, from the earliest short pieces to the latest series. Reviews gather most thickly around Routine, which many treat as the true title story.
It is Alp's third book, after Honey Trap and Melty Limit. Routine grew from a single chapter into sequels, and in March 2025 Pink Pineapple released the OVA Immoral Routine The Animation, the second screen adaptation of Alp's work after the linked series from Melty Limit.
The print edition came out on December 28, 2022, and the digital editions early the following year. Stories once available only in digital form entered a printed book for the first time here. It stands 203rd among the hall's commercial works.
