Melty Limit stands in the hall as Alp's first book in print, a collection in which linked series and standalone stories answer one another within a single volume.

It gathers work from comic Anthurium, with new pages added, and was published in the GOT COMICS line. Two linked series carry it. Yamitsuki Mura is a three-part tale in the manner of a folk legend, in which a scholar visits a village rumoured to bar men and follows the trail of a lust demon. Saionji-ke no Karei naru Seikatsu, set in the mansion of a young lady and her maid, runs in two parts with an epilogue. Around them sit standalone stories of a shrine maiden, a teacher and a female spy, along with a school story. Many of the plots are driven by the women, and one story includes non-consensual elements.

What readers agree on is the brightness of its endings: most stories close without leaving a shadow. They also point to a pleasure only a collected volume can give, characters from the early pages returning later on; to faces drawn alike yet told apart by manner and speech; and to the care that keeps the men's faces from crowding the page.

Alp released the digital-only Honey Trap in 2017 and moved into print with this book. Alp also works in doujin as Ringoya, and several readers say the doujin work is what led them to this book.

The print edition appeared in early 2020 and topped the adult manga sales at Toranoana's Akihabara Store A for the first half of that year, placing second for the year as a whole. It stands 103rd among the hall's commercial works.
