Some artists settle their position with the first book. What Tamagoro settled in Thank You Very Bitch was this: only scenes in which the women are enjoying themselves.
Twelve short pieces. A classroom after hours, a beach in summer, the equipment shed, a tutoring job. The partner is usually an older man, but the one moving the story is always the girl. She invites, she chooses, she goes home satisfied. Not one dark ending anywhere. A piece that lands on a gag is mixed in as well.
The texture of this book is the softness of flesh. Breasts that give under a hand, the weight travelling from thigh to backside, skin holding sweat. The publisher's cover copy reached for ripening fruit; readers put it more plainly and simply write soft. The subject of the page is the girl in the middle of feeling something, right to the end, while the men are there to move the scene along. It is that allocation that keeps even the group scenes free of any air of harm.
A year and a half of short work from the magazine, gathered into a first collection. The publisher never changed afterwards, and neither did the pages the work appeared in. The outline of this artist is already complete in the opening volume.
English-language databases carry two separate entries for the title. Among the hall's commercial works it sits twelfth.
